IN-85-068-h06 Element Feport 22912, Pevisien 3 dated December 19, 1966, involves an employee concern statirg. "A lot of instrument panels are located far away from the equipment they control."

SUMMARY

OF ISSUE The concern is a Watts Bar concern but is considered generic to Seouoyah because of the sinilarity of the two plants and the general nature of concern.

The issue is the distance between the instrument panels and the actual ecul pre nt.

Post ecuipment are located in several buildings such as the containment building, auxiliary buildings and the turbine building, but the controls are lccated in the control room.

3.0 EVALUATION NRC and its consultant, SAIC, reviewed the employee concern.
