FOR f
III. Evaluation TVA perfornec the following inspections / reviews:
A.
The review of WEN ECGT Elenent report, Caulking'(C010501), revealed the concern was f actual at WBN but was not safety-related. This review also revealed that WBN Mechanical Maintenance will issue a Field Charge Request (FCR) to modify the note on TVA J
crawing 10W331-16 to elimir:ote the requirement to fill the lif ting eye recess with caulk.
r b.
Inspection of the $(h Fifth Diesel Building revealed the top nissile shielJ to have two recesses approxirately tiight inches, ceep to accorrodate lif tirg eyes. A review of TVA crawirg 10W33-16. Rev. 2 showed that eight inches of polysulfide caulkir.g would fill the recesses of the top shield to seal out w;ter.
Constructicn of the SQN Fifth Diesel Building is not corpleted. Therefore, the lifting eye recesses do not have caulkir.g 1r. then at this tite.
IV.
Cerclusion The hFC staff conclodes that TVA's investigation and resolution of the concerr s.as adequate and no further action is required by hRC.
