A clarification call was held on August 12, 2021, with TN staff. NRC staff requested that TN walk through the responses provided to Observations 4-1, 4-4, 4-5, 4-8 and 4-11. In addition, NRC is requesting clarification on how the information contained in the response to 4-11 (and corresponding sections in UFSAR Section 2.4.3.1) is considered proprietary.

- re Response to Observations 4-4 and 4-5: will update SAR Section 2.4.3.1 to specifically mention 10 CFR 72.48 design changes, add a sentence in the methodology in the SAR to clarify when superimposing (i.e., when it can be superimposed and when it cannot),

- re Response to Observation 4-1: will revise SAR Section 4.9.8.3.6.2 to correct a typo.  
- re Response to Observation 4-8: clarified if new content is added, the methodology in SAR Section 2.4.3.1 will need to be justified to use for fuel parameters in future amendments to confirm the values are bounding. Therefore, this is out of the scope of this amendment application. No additional information is needed at this time.
