Application for Amendment 1 to the NUHOMS EOS System, Revision O (Docket No. 72-1042)

In accordance with 1 O CFR 72.244, TN Americas LLC herewith submits its application to amend Certificate of Compliance (CoC) 1042 for the NU HOMS EOS System. The scope of Amendment 1 is described in Enclosure 2.

includes a mark-up of proposed changes to the CoC document.

provides a complete revision to the Technical Specifications (TS) with proposed changes annotated. The proprietary version of the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) changed pages and drawings associated with Amendment 1 are included as Enclosure 5 with a footer on each changed page annotated as "72-1042 Amendment 1, Revision 0, February 2018." The public version of these UFSAR changed pages is provided as Enclosure 6.

Certaira portions of this submittal include proprietary information, which may not be used for any purpose other than to support the NRG staffs review of the application.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390, TN Americas LLC is providing an affidavit (Enclosure 1 ), specifically requesting that this proprietary information be withheld from public disclosure. The submittal also includes security-related information.

With the exception of Enclosure 8, public versions of portions containing proprietary and/or security-related information are provided. Enclosure 7 provides a listing of the computer files associated with CoC 1042 Amendment 1. Enclosure 8 contains the computer files associated with this amendment submittal. Since Enclosure 8 contains entirely proprietary information, no public version is provided.

TN Americas LLC has a contract with' one of our existing customers who desires to use the ch~nges to CoC 1042 described in this amendment application.

TN Americas LLC requests that the staff assign appropriate priority for review of this application, consistent with the issuance of a request for additional information, if needed, in order for Amendment 1 to become final effective within 15 months (by May 15, 2019).
