CORRECTION TO TN AMERICAS LLC TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR RENEWED AMENDMENTS NO. 11, REVISION 1 AND NO. 13, REVISION 1 TO STANDARDIZED NUHOMS CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE NO. 1004 FOR SPENT FUEL STORAGE CASKS, (CAC NO. 001028, DOCKET NO. 72-1004, EPID: L-2017-PMP-0001)
Dear Mr. Bondre:
By email dated January 10, 2018 (ML18016A723), Donis Shaw of TN Americas LLC notified the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff that the title for Figure 1-15 of the Technical Specifications for Amendment No. 13, Revision 1 of the Standardized NUHOMS Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1004 for Spent Fuel Storage Casks was incorrect. Specifically, the title did not include the 24PTH-S-LC Dry Shielded Cask (DSC).
Upon further review, the NRC staff determined that the title of Figure 1-15 in the technical specifications was inadvertently changed during the Revision 1 process for the 13 amendments for CoC No. 1004. Specifically, the title for Figure 1-15 was unintentionally changed in the technical specifications for Amendment 11, Revision 1 and Amendment 13, Revision 1, from Heat Load Zoning Configuration Number 5 for 24PTH-S-LC DSC (with or without Control Components)(2) to Heat Load Zoning Configuration Number 5 for 24PTH-S and 24PTH-L DSCs (with or without Control Components)(2). This minor editorial and non-substantive error was carried forward to Renewed Amendments No. 11, Revision 1, and No. 13, Revision 1.
NRC processed a corrective amendment to change the title of Figure 1-15 in the technical specifications for the Renewed Amendments No. 11, Revision 1 and No. 13, Revision 1.
Enclosures 1 (ML18022A078) and 2 (ML18022A079) contain the revised title for Figure 1-15 included in the corrected technical specifications for the CoC No. 1004 Renewed Amendments No. 11, Revision 1 and No. 13, Revision 1 respectively.
A notice will be published on January 24, 2018, in the Federal Register reflecting this action.
