FEB 9 1987 MEMORANDUM FOR: Jack Goldberg, Deputy Assistant General Counsel for Enforcement FROM:
John G. Davis, Chaiman ComanchePeakReportReviewGroup(CPRRG)
SUBJECT:
ISSUES RAISED BY OIA REPORT 86-10 HAVING BROADER IMPLICATIONS FOR REGION IV In the Chairman's January 15, 1987, memorandum to the EDO, the Comission requested the CPRRG to offer the EDO its judgment on whether the problems identified at Comanche Peak are isolated or there tre broader implications in Region IV. The CPRRG requests OGC assistance in addressing this issue.
Specifically, based on OGC's completed review of the OIA report and the supporting record, what issues, if any, are raised based upon the record developed which the CPRRG should consider as potentially having " broader" implications for Region IV? OGC's suggestions, as well as those of others, will be valuable to the CPRRG in reaching its judgment on whether the record in this case raises issues that have broader implications.
The CPRRG appreciates your assistance on this matter.
