r-This refers to our inspection of the Comanche Peak. Steam Electric Station Quality Assurance Plan and to the discussion of our findings held by myself and Messrs. Madsen, Warnick, and Garland of the Commission's staff with Messrs. Caudle, Schmidt, Ilickman, and Boren of your staff on March 14, 1974, in the Region IV Office at Denver, Colorado.

Your corrective actions relating to previously identified violations were reviewed. Concerning your letter of February 21, 1974, l
responding to our 1ctter of January 7,1974, we have no further questions regarding items 1. a., 1. b., 1. d., 1. c., 1. f., 1. g., 1. j., 1. k., 2. a.,
l and 2.b.
During our next inspect' ion at your ft.cilities we will verify the impicmentation of corrective actions for items 2.c., 2.d.,
2.e.,
2.f.,
3.a., and 3.b.
Concerning items 1.c., 1.h., 1.1.,
and 2.g.,
it is our. understanding that the following actions will be taken to correct our ree-ining concerns which will also be verified during our next inspect. ion:

modifiers " applicable provisions of" will be changed to make.it clear that all activities affecting quality will be in compliance with ANSI N45.2, N45.2.9, N45.2.10, N45.2.11, N45.2.12, and N45.2.13.

Quality Assurance Plan.

2.g A review will be made to assure that a11 procedures and parts.of procedures pertaining to the CPSES Quality Assurance Plan, such as the minimum job qualifications of TUSI personnel performing quality related work, are included or referenced-in the QA Plan.

will be reviewed and revised to provide the minimum training to be given TUSI personnel.
