This information has been provided by G. A. Arlotto, Director of the Division of Engineering Standards of the Office of Standards Devel opment. addresses the status of those guides listed in pragcaph 3.2.2.2 of ?GE-1020 which are current and have not yet been revised.
As to those guides currently being reviewed and considered for revision, the natters as to uhich revision is contemplated and the reasons for potential revisions are set forth in the attachciant to Enclosure 1.

Regulatory Guide 1.10, Mechanical (Cadweld) Splices in Reinforcino Bars of Category I Concrete Structures, Rev. 1, January 2, 1973.

Regulatory Guide 1.15, Testing of Reinfm :ing Bars for Category I Concrete Structures, Rev. 1, December 28, 1977 Status: Neither Regulatory Guide 1.10 or 1.15 is currently under review or revision. ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III Division 2 has picked up the essentials of these guides. Regulatory Gu de 1.136 is d
currently being revised (Revision 2) to endorse those portions of the Code (covered in Regulatory Guides 1.10 and 1.15). Regulatory Guides 1.10 and 1.15 will be withdrawn once Regulatory Guide 1.136 is reissued.

Rev. 2, February 1978.
Status: The guide is being revised to provide inore concise guidance and reflect experience in the use of che guide.
It is expected the revised guide (Revision 3) will be issued for public comment within the next three months. Attached is a draft of che Value/ Impact statement for the proposed revision of the guide. Changes may be made in the Value/ Impact Assessment prior to issuance of the revised guide.

Regulatory Guide 1.55, Concrete Placement in Category I Structures, June 1973.
Status: Regulatory Guide 1.94 which is now under revision to endorse the revised ANSI N45.2.5 standard will cover the provisions of this qu'de, in addition to covering other areas. Therefore, Regulatory Guide 1 -6 will be withdrawn upon revision of Regulatory Guide 1.94.

Status: This guide is not currently under revision. This guide endorses, subject to certain supplementary provisions, ANSI N45.2.ll-1974.
The N45.2.ll. standard is being revised and it is expected the Regulatory Guide will be revised when the N45.2.11 revised standard is issued.
- j. Regulatory Guide 1.88, Collection, Storage, and Maintenance of Nuclear Power Plant Quality Assurance Records, Rev. 2, October 1976.
Status: This guide is not currently under revision. This guide endorses, subject to certain supplementary provisions, ANSI N45.2.9-1974. The N45.2.9 standard is being revised and it is expected the Regulatory Guide will be revised when the N45.2.9 revised standard is issued.

Status: Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.28 was issued for public comment in March 1978. Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.28 was issued in its active form in January 1979. Changes made to Regulatory Guide 1.28 are discussed in its Value/ Impact Assessment (copy attached - Attachment 1). P ior to publication for coment of Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.28, the Regulatory Requirements Review Comittee placed the guide into Category 1 (No Backfit)
Revision 2 to the guide was also placed in the same category by RRRC.

Regulatory Guide 1.38, Quality Assurance Reauirements for Packagina, Shiocino, Receiving, Storage and Handling of Items for Water-Cooled Nuclear Power Plants, March 16, 1973.
Status: Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.38 was issued for public comment in October 1976. Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.38 was issued in its active form in May 1977. Changes made to Regulatory Guide 1.38 are discussed in its Value/ Impact Assessment (copy attached - Attachment 2).
Prior to publication for coment of Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.38, the RRRC reviewed the guide. No backit provisions were identifie.i. The RRRC did not review Revision 2 of Regulatory Guide 1.38 since only editorial changes were made to the guide.
Proposed revision 3 to Regulatory Guide 1.38 is now under development. The expected changes are discussed in the Preliminary Value/ Impact Assessment.
(copy attached - Attachment 3). The task is just starting and additional changes as a result of staff review may be made prior to issuance of the guide for public coment.

Regulatory Guide 1.39, Housekeeping Reauirements for Water-Cooled Nuclear Power Plants, March 16, 1973.
Status: Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.39 was issued for public coment in October 1976. Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.39 was issued in its active form in September 1977. Changes made to Regulatory Guide 1.39 are discussed in its Value/ Impact Assessment (copy attached - Attachment 4).
Prior to publication for coment of Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.39, the RRRC reviewed the guide and indicated the guide should be used in evalaation of submittals for construction permits or operating license applicatior s upon issuance of the guide for coment. Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide 1.39 was also reviewed by RRRC. Since the guide reflected current staff practice, the implementation schedule stated the methods described in the guide will be used as of the date of the issuance of the guide. Regulatory Guide 1.123, Quality Assurance Requirements for Control of Procurement of Items and Services for Nuclear Power Plants, October 1976.
Status: The Regulatory Guide referenced by PGE (RG 1.123 - October 1976) was issued for public comment in October 1976. Revision 1 to Regulatory Guide 1.123 reflecting consideration of public comment was issued in its active form in July 1977. The RRRC did not review Revision 1 of Regulatory Guide 1.123 since only editorial changes were made to the Suide. The Value/ Impact Assessment for Revision 1 of the guide is attached (Attachment 5).
