i We had asked for navigation data from US Geological Surn.y (USGS) survey ships and==4==ie profiles from USGS' surveys offshore from the california coast. PG&B indicated that they were obtaining this information. It

was agreed that, if there were any problems with PG4E obtaining the information in a timely manner, we would help them to obtain the is., forma-tion or else review the information by traveling to the USGS offices in California in order to avoid any delays in the review schedule, I

We had asked for further justification of the SAM III method used by John Blume to calculate peak site aseellerations due to postulated earth-quakas on the Boogri Famit. Dr. Blume deactibed the origin of the method and compared its results to those from other' methods published by Schnable and Seed. Trifunae and Brady, and Donovan. It was agreed that further descriptive material on the SAM III method as well as a comparisen with results of other methods would be inclnded in an FSAR====A==nt.
