Complete By letter dated October 21, 1992, Florida Power & Light company, the licensee for St. Lucie Unit 1, submitted an application to revise Technical Specification (TS) 4.5.2.D.1.
The proposed revision would delete the surveillance requirements to verify operability of autoclosure interlock (ACI) for the Shutdown Cooling System (SDCS).
Elimination of ACI surveillance is due to the licensee's plan to remove the shutdown cooling system autoclosure interlock.
Based on the our review of the licensee's analyses supporting the proposed TS change, we find the change to be acceptable.
Our Safety Evaluation and SALP evaluation are enclosed.
This concludes our work on TAC No. M84541.
