PALISADES PLANT-REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RELATED TO CONSUMERS ENERGY COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO GENERIC LETTER (GL} 88-20, SUPPLEMENT 4, "INDIVIDUAL PLANT EXAMINATION OF EXTERNAL EVENTS" (TAC NO. M83653)
Dear Mr. Haskell:
By letter dated March 4, 1998, we transmitted a staff request for additional information (RAI) regarding Consumers Energy Company's response to GL 88-20, Supplement 4. Our letter requested that you provide a response to the enclosed questions within 90 days of the date of the letter. In consideration of the resource impact on your staff associated with the Palisades Plant refueling outage scheduled to commence April 24, 1998, the NRC staff has determined that it is acceptable to extend the date for your response to the staff's RAI to 120 days from the date of the March 4, 1998, letter.
