Purpose:
This is an NRC-requested Management Meeting with PSEG to discuss:
(1) NRCs annual assessment of the safety performance at the Salem Units 1 and 2, and Hope Creek Nuclear Power Plants; (2) results of PSEG assessments of the work environment at those facilities (plans for these assessments were discussed between the NRC and PSEG at a public meeting on March 18, 2004, and assessment results were provided in a PSEG letter, dated May 21, 2004); and (3) the Action Plan, currently being developed by PSEG, to address the results of the assessments, including issues regarding the work environment, as well as actions to strengthen the work management and corrective action programs.
