The referenced letter provided the FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC)

License Renewal Application (LRA) for the Beaver Valley Power Station (BVPS).

Pursuant to the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 54.21(b), FENOC is required to submit an amendment (also known as "Annual Update") to the LRA that identifies any change to the BVPS current licensing basis that materially affects the contents of the LRA. A mutually agreed upon date of October 30, 2008, for submittal of the BVPS LRA Annual Update was determined by telephone call held between the FENOC Fleet License Renewal Project Manager and the NRC BVPS License Renewal Project Manager.
