WATTS BAR NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 AND 2-SUBMITTAL OF REVISION TO THE RADIOLOGICAL EMERGENCY PLAN

In Reference 1, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) submitted a dual-unit revision to the Radiological Emergency Plan (REP) for the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant (WBN) Units 1 and 2. This revision consisted of Revision 104X for the generic part of the TVA REP (NP-REP) and Revision 1 04X of Appendix C, the Watts Bar-specific part of the REP.

The "X" revision indicates that it shows the currently approved REP information, and that information that will be present when WBN Unit 2 receives a license.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Page 2 April 1, 2015 To address an existing issue on WBN Unit 1, the condenser vacuum exhaust radiation monitors were replaced on Unit 1. As a result of this design change to the plant, a change to Appendix C of the REP (Revision 1 05) was required for WBN (Reference 2).

In addition, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) recently approved a license amendment for WBN related to hydrology, which will require a change to the REP (future Revision 1 06). To be consistent in our submittals to the NRC in support of licensing Watts Bar Unit 2, a copy of Revision 1 06X to Appendix C of the REP is submitted for NRC review (Enclosure 1) that shows changes that will occur in the near future. A summary of changes to Appendix C, Revision 1 06X is provided in Enclosure 2.

There are no regulatory commitments associated with this submittal. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Gordon Arent at (423) 365-2004.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct. Executed on the 1st day of April 2015.
