All holders of operating licenses for nuclear power reactors, except those who havepermanently ceased operations and have certified that fuel has been permanently removedfrom the reactor vessel.DiscussionA typographical error has been identified in Generic Letter 99-02, 'Laboratory Testing ofNuclear-Grade Activated Charcoal," issued on June 3, 1999, that makes the sentence in whichit appears technically incorrect. This sentence appears in two places, namely, in RequestedActions 2 and 3, on page 7 of the generic letter. The affected sentence reads "If the systemhas a face velocity greater than 10 percent of 0.203 m/s (40 ft/min), then the revised TS[technical specification] should specify the face velocity."
