SUBJECT: Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 License No. NPF-13 File 0260/L-835.0 Smoke Detection Zone 2-17 Alarmed and Would Not Reset LER 82-185/03 L-0 AECM-83/66 On December 29, 1982, smoke detection Zone 2-17 clarmed and would not reset. A Limiting Condition for Operation was entered and a fire watch was established in accordance with Technical Specification 3.3.7.9.

This event is reported pursuant to Technical Specification 6.9.1.13.b.
