A.
Direct comparison of as-built piping loads to the allowable equipment nozzle loads assures that all Catawba safety-related equipment will have acceptable loading during performance of safety functions.
B.
Operability qualification of safety-related equipment at Catawba is complete and all design requirements have been met.
Duke Response - Specific Equipment Item:
A.
Catawba valve 1/NF/234A is qualified for operation at -10 F.
An analysis providing verification has been inserted into the valve seismic report CNM-1205.00-1020 for permanent record.
