Leech CMEB Reviewer: F. J. Witt Description of Task: Technical Specification Change to Facilitate Hydrogen Addition Status: Safety Evaluation Complete By letters dated February 1 and 15, 1985, the licensee requested a temporary Tech Spec change to the main steam line high radiation trip level set point.

The purpose of the requested Tech Spec change is to conduct an operational test of hydrogen additive reactor water chemistry.

The Radiological Assessment Branch (RAB) has reviewed the request for Technical Specification changes. Attached is the evaluation and SALP prepared by RAB.

We recommend that the proposed technical specification changes be approved.
