SUBJECT: NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-443/98-05
~ Dear Mr. Feigenbaum:
On August 22,1998, the NRC completed an inspection at Seabrook Station.' The enclosed
report presents the results of _that inspection.

The plant was operated safely during the period. Operators performed routine activities
- includireg the plant start-up and power ascension well. Maintenance technicians performed
s
. several activities well, and engineering provided good support of the spent fuel pool rack
, modification. The security program was inspected during this period. The NRC determined
that'you are implementing a security program that protects against acts of radiological
<
sabotage. Also, a radiation protection program inspection took place. Overall, the NRC !
i found the radiation' protection program was effectively implemented. q
i in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter
