The exemptionrequestbecame neceswy as a d t of the strike by operatMsrepsatedby the InternationalBmtherhood 0f-Electrica.lWok- Local 1289, Alt.slough we do not object to the exemptionrequest, we remainconcerned with the impadof a long teanjob ttction's effect on the operatingcre~~atOyserCnxk.

IamrequestingthattheNRCperformaspecial~onofthismodifiedoperator requalifiCrrtiontraiaingprogramatan~~timCintheFallof2003. ThisiaspeCtion would be an inmhrneasm, beyondthc scopcofthe Reactor Oversight Pmgram,to ensure that operators are xecebhg timely and effectve,ongoingtraining in anti&ahn of fulhlling the regdatory requbxueats that are to be met by December 31,2003.
