SUBJECT: SUMMARY OF THE PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS THE RESULTS OF THE CALLAWAY NUCLEAR PLANT LICENSE RENEWAL INSPECTION
Dear Mr. Heflin,
This refers to the public meeting conducted in a town house format at the Fulton City Hall, on January 17, 2013, with members of the public. The participants discussed the overall license renewal process and provided the results of the license renewal inspection conducted at Callaway Nuclear Plant, as documented in Inspection Report 05000483/2012009 [ADAMS Accession ML12328A053]. In addition, the participants answered many other questions of general interest related to the Callaway Nuclear Plant.
The attendance list is enclosed with this su mmary (Enclosure 1). A copy of the NRC presentation slides related to the license renewal inspection is also enclosed (Enclosure 2).
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, and its enclosure, will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
