NRC INTEGRATED INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-220/98-14

AND 50-410/98-14

Dear Mr. Mueller:

-This report transmits the findings of safety inspections conducted by NRC inspectors at the

Nino Mile Point Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, from August 16 through September 26,

1998. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with you and

members of your staff.

During this six-week inspection period, we noted continued safe operation of both units by

your staff.

In accordance with 10CFR2.7900f the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and

its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
