Do you have more details? Laura, ACRS PRA Subcommittee members are mainly interested in the Fire PRA development and what went well and what were problems. Once NRR has established the sites, with the points of contact, John Lai, from the ACRS staff will contact you with additional detail. 2 - I'm assuming the presentation will be on PRA technical stuff. [Can you confirm]? Correct, the presentations should center around technical PRA details, such as; NUREG 6850 methodology, peer review F&O resolution, modifications for risk reduction, & etc... However, this may includes both internal events and fire PRA, and the fire modeling efforts. 3 - Perhaps [DAEC should address] modeling info, or peer review findings. [Can you comment]? DAEC, with discussions with the ACRS, can decide whom they want to present which topics. Currently, you'll have 60 minutes for presentations and 30 minutes for Q&As, that's a lot of time to fill. 4 - Do we only need to send our PRA folks or should we also send [attendees from, or presenters representing,] the NFPA 805 team? My sense is that the NRC staff will cover the overall NFPA 805 programmatic type info, so you'll mainly want to send the technical gurus and maybe one overall NFPA 805 guy for any odd questions. I think you'll get a chance to ask these questions from John, who coordinates a lot of these types of reviews. | Thank you. - NRC Staff presentation the first morning. 7/26/12 PM
- A presentation by each of two non-pilot sites that have submitted their LARs. Each site would provide a 60 min brief on their PRA efforts, with an additional 30 minutes each of Q&As 7/27/12 AM
- Presentation by PWROG and BWROG to each provide a brief on their PRA Peer review efforts (30 min with 15 min Q&As for each Owner's Group presentation). Paul Lain has asked me to invite NextEra Energy Duane Arnold to support the agenda with a presentation. I don't yet know if any of the site time slots are committed, but please express a preference if this is important to you.
If able to support this briefing, please let me know by early next week. I will send further details as I get them. Karl Feintuch USNRC 301-415-3079
