PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION - PROPOSED CHANGES TO THEEMERGENCY PLAN TO REVISE TRAINING FOR THE ON-SHIFT CHEMISTRYTECHNICIAN Application date: January 14, 2016 (ADAMS Accession No. ML16021A459) Brief Description: This amendment consists of changes to the Pilgrim Emergency Plan to revise the training for the on-shift Chemistry Technicianpursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 50.54(q)(4).This amendment would reduce the level of the Emergency ResponseOrganization staff training for the on-shift Chemistry Technician to support on-shift Radiation Protection Technician functions at the onset of a radiologicalevent. The amendment would also revise paragraph 3.B of the renewed facility operating license. The NRC issued a proposed finding that the amendmentinvolves no significant hazards consideration in the Federal Register on April 12, 2016 (81 FR 21597) (Link). The NRC has not received any public comment orrequests for hearing on this LAR.
