PURPOSE

This procedure provides actions required to restore RH System cooling in the event RH System cooling is lost during Modes 4, 5, or 6.

SYMPTOMS OR ENTRY CONDITIONS i

o RH PUMP TRIP - alarm o
RH PUMP 1A(B) DSCH PRESS HIGH - alarm o
RH PUMP 1A(B) DSCH PRESS LOW - alarm o
RH PUMP 1A(B) CC FLOW LOW - alarm j
o RH EX CC WTR FLOW HIGH LOW - alarm o RCS SYSTEM COLD PRESS HIGH - alarm

o RCS PRESS HIGH AT LOW TEMP - alarm o
CC PUMP TRIP - alarm o
CC SURGE TANK LEVEL HIGH LOW - alarm I
o CC PUMP DSCH PRESS LOW - alarm o
REACTOR VESSEL LEVEL LOW - alarm 5
: 2. The following symptoms may cause entry into this procedure:
o Oscillating RH pump amps.

Fluctuating RH Pump dsch pressure.
o Excessive RH Pump noise or vibration.
o Fluctuating Letdown Flow when on RH Letdown.
o Decreasing Reactor vessel level o
Increasing RCS temperature.
o Increasing RH system temperature.
: 3. This procedure may be entered from:
o 1BwrR-C.3, RESPONSE TO SATURATED CORE COOLING, Step 1.
o Inability to reduce RCS temperature while' shutdown, o
Loss of RH System while operating in Modes 4, 5, or 6.

PURPOSE

This procedure provides actions required to restore RH System cooling in the event RH System cooling is lost during Modes 4, 5, or 6.

B.

SYMPTOMS OR ENTRY CONDITIONS i

1. The following annunciators may cause entry into this procedure:

o RH PUMP TRIP - alarm o

RH PUMP 1A(B) DSCH PRESS HIGH - alarm o

RH PUMP 1A(B) DSCH PRESS LOW - alarm o

RH PUMP 1A(B) CC FLOW LOW - alarm j

o RH EX CC WTR FLOW HIGH LOW - alarm o RCS SYSTEM COLD PRESS HIGH - alarm

o RCS PRESS HIGH AT LOW TEMP - alarm o

CC PUMP TRIP - alarm o

CC SURGE TANK LEVEL HIGH LOW - alarm I

o CC PUMP DSCH PRESS LOW - alarm o

REACTOR VESSEL LEVEL LOW - alarm 5

2. The following symptoms may cause entry into this procedure:

o Oscillating RH pump amps.

I o

Fluctuating RH Pump dsch pressure.

o Excessive RH Pump noise or vibration.

o Fluctuating Letdown Flow when on RH Letdown.

o Decreasing Reactor vessel level o

Increasing RCS temperature.

o Increasing RH system temperature.

3. This procedure may be entered from:

o 1BwrR-C.3, RESPONSE TO SATURATED CORE COOLING, Step 1.

o Inability to reduce RCS temperature while' shutdown, o

Loss of RH System while operating in Modes 4, 5, or 6.
