PUBLIC COURSE AVAILABLE - NRC EXPORT AND IMPORT OF NUCLEAR EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL
 
The Office of International Programs has created a public version of its web-based training course on the NRCs export and import licensing process for nuclear equipment and material. Th is voluntary course consists of five modules that outline the export and import license appl ication acceptance and review process and the st eps taken to issue NRC export and import license s for nuclear equipment and material. Participants in the course will gain a better understanding of t he NRC s regulatory authority, including the legal and pol icy basis for licensing exports and imports, as well as the types of general and specific export and import licenses authorized by the NRC. A link to this web-based course has been added to the Tra ining Courses page on NRCs Public Website.
Participants should allow approximately 40 -minutes to complete the course.
 
Questions about the course should be directed to Andrea Jones in t he Export Control and Nonproliferation Branch in the Office of Inter national Programs.
