PUBLIC COURSE AVAILABLE - NRC EXPORT AND IMPORT OF NUCLEAR EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL The Office of International Programs has created a public version of its web-based training course on the NRCs export and import licensing process for nuclear equipment and material. This voluntary course consists of five modules that outline the export and import license application acceptance and review process and the steps taken to issue NRC export and import licenses for nuclear equipment and material. Participants in the course will gain a better understanding of the NRCs regulatory authority, including the legal and policy basis for licensing exports and imports, as well as the types of general and specific export and import licenses authorized by the NRC. A link to this web-based course has been added to the Training Courses page on NRCs Public Website.
Participants should allow approximately 40-minutes to complete the course.
