Cn Wednesday October 8, 1980 I reported a construction deficiency associated with the cooling tower concrete beams that we consider a potentially reportable item under 10 CFR 50.55 (e). This interin report is being filed in accordance with the thirty day reporting requirements of 10 CFR 50.55 (e).

Testing is in progress to determine if a significant deficiency exists for this item. The testing is scheduled to be completed by 2/16/81. Upon the comple-tion of testing, an evaluation will be conducted to the criteria of 10 CFR 50.55 (e) to determine if a significant deficiency exists. At that time we will either verbally inform you that a significant deficiency does not exist, or a formal report in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55 (e) will be submitted. Cn Wednesday October 8, 1980 I reported a construction deficiency associated with the cooling tower concrete beams that we consider a potentially reportable item under 10 CFR 50.55 (e).
