FW: Vermont Yankee Question The 183 gpm drift is based on the cooling tower manufacture's data for drift of 0.05% of cooling tower water flow of 366,000 gpm. See p. 4 of attached report that was submitted in VT PSB Docket 6812 (EPU CPG).
The deposition was a simple calculation by S&W that was prepared to counter the NEC allegation that we would turn the site into a rain forest. It was submitted in response to a discovery request by NEC in the latter stages of the discovery process (same time gluteraldehyde appeared). Unfortunately, my files on this information were inadvertently deleted, and we will need to go back to Vickie Brown's files to obtain the information.

distance of 1000 meters, and the amount of drift will increase as thermal power is increased at the plant."
I know that Docket 6812 deals with the uprate, but Ron has never seen the report nor is aware of those numbers or where they come from. Do you have any idea what the report is, or where it may be obtained? We can always discuss this next week, but I thought it may help to have the report to look it over before then.
