This letter acknowledges the letter from Mr. T. R. Stoner, Site Vice President, Clinton Power Station, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), dated September 7, 2017, which provided a response to the Notice of Violation that was issued in NRC Inspection Report 05000461/ 2017002; dated August 11, 2017.
 
We reviewed your response and find that it meets the requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2.201, Notice of Violation. In the letter dated September 7, 2017, you identify the corrective actions that your facility has taken or plans to take to address the violation. The NRC has reviewed the corrective actions, which appear to be adequate, and has no further questions at this time. The actions that Clinton Power Station has taken, and plans to take to address the violation, may be examined during a future inspection.
 
This letter will be made available for public inspection and copying at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html and at the NRC Public Document Room in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 2.390, Public Inspections, Exemptions, Requests for Withholding.
