By application dated December 19, 2007, Luminant Generation Company LLC (the licensee) requested that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff authorize an alternative to certain inservice inspection (ISI) code requirements for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Unit 2. Specifically, Relief Request No. B-2 proposed an alternative to the examination requirements of Section XI of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for certain risk-informed ISI piping welds.  
By application dated December 19, 2007, Luminant Generation Company LLC (the licensee) requested that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff authorize an alternative to certain inservice inspection (ISI) code requirements for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Unit 2. Specifically, Relief Request No. B-2 proposed an alternative to the examination requirements of Section XI of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code for certain risk-informed ISI piping welds.
