Dear Mr. Christman:

The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the individual examination results for yourapplicants on the initial written examination conducted on November 17, 2006, and the walkthrough (overall) and/or simulator operating tests administered the week of November 6, 2006 at your facility. This meets the intent of Section E.1 of the Examination Standards (ES 501) in NUREG 1021. Eleven individuals were administered the examination and ten passed. However, we will not be issuing a license for one of the applicants who passed

- as explained in Section ES-501, paragraph D.3.c. - because any written examination with a passing grade of 82 (74 for SRO-only) percent or below is normally held for review until those applicants who failed the examination have had an opportunity to appeal their license denials. Also, we will not be issuing a license for one applicant (as explained in Section ES-501, paragraph D.3.c.) until you certify in writing that he has acquired all the training and experience for which he was previously granted a waiver. This information is considered to be "proprietary" in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 and it supplements the information contained in the related examination report for your facility which will be issued shortly.Enclosure 1 is the completed ES-501-2, Power Plant Licensing Examination Results Summary,and is a summary of overall examination results.Enclosure 2 contains the individual results ES-303-1 and 303-2, Operator License ExaminationReport, for the applicants. Contained therein are the deficiencies noted for each applicant. In accordance with your Systems Approach to Training (SAT) Program, we expect that you will review these results and provide appropriate remedial training for the individual independent ofthe overall pass status. The applicant has authorized the release of this information to your facility by signing Block 19A of NRC Form 398.Enclosure 3 is a copy of the licenses.
