NRC Letter dated August 15,1994 from C.L. Pittiglio to A.J. Bortz; subject: Exemption from the Requirement of 10 CFR 140.11(a)(4) for the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station - Unit 1 Ladies and Gentlemen:
LIPA's request for a revision to Indemnity Agreement No. B-87 between LIPA and NRC to reduce the primary financial protection requirement and to delete the secondary financial protection requirement was granted by Reference 1.
Reference 1 also transmitted Amendment No. 6 to indemnity Agreement No. B-87 for LIPA's concurrence. Enclosed is a copy of Amendment No. 6 signed by LIPA's General Counsel, Richard P. Bonnifield, Esq.

, Indemnity Agreement No. B-87, between Long Island Power Authority and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, dated May 19, 1982, as amended, is hereby further amended as follows:
Item 2a of the Attachment to the indemnity agreement is deleted in its entirety and the following substituted therefor:
