South Carolina Electric & Gas Company (SCE&G), acting for itself and as an agent for South Carolina Public Service Authority (Santee Cooper), is providing notification of an intended change to a commitment date. Specifically, SCE&G identified in Reference 1 that a License Amendment Request (LAR) identifying DRIB/105A&B as doors that have been evaluated for variances from NFPA 80 requirements would be submitted. In Reference 2, SCE&G identified that the submittal would be made by November 30, 2017.

Since the original commitment was made and updated in References 1 and 2, SCE&G has identified the need for further efforts to provide additional information in the LAR submittal. The LAR will: (1) update the Fire Probabilistic Risk Assessment (Table W')

to correct modeling errors; (2) address de-scoped plant modifications; (3) identify DRIB/105A&B as doors that have been evaluated for variances from NFPA 80 requirements; and (4) revise documentation impacted by the changes. SCE&G will submit the LAR by June 30, 2018. An updated commitment is attached.
