The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with representatives of the Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Co. on Nov. 29, to discuss initiatives to improve performance at the Wolf Creek nuclear power plant near Burlington, Kan.
The meeting, which will be open to public observation, will begin at 1 p.m. in the NRCs Region IV office, 612 E. Lamar Blvd, Arlington, Texas.
Company officials will brief NRC staff on efforts to improve performance in the area of problem identification and resolution.
Observers will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff before the meeting is adjourned. Members of the public can listen to the meeting by calling 1-800-952-9677, and requesting to be connected to a phone bridge.
