This is a Open meeting. Public participation is actively sought for this meeting to fully engage the public in a discussion of regulatory issues.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update regarding the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commissions (NRC) ongoing efforts to revise the Baseline Security Significance Determination Process (BSSDP). Specifically, this meeting will provide an overview of the staffs recommendations for enhancing the BSSDP to reduce subjectivity, add further risk insights, and ensure consistency in security inspection findings.
