This is a Comment-Gathering Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is for NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to receive comments from participants on specific NRC decisions and actions to ensure that NRC staff understands their views and concerns.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to share the staffs progress on the preliminary draft NUREG-1556, Volume 22 guidance and to provide an opportunity for external stakeholders to ask questions or provide feedback on the proposed rule that would develop a regulatory framework under 10 CFR Part 30 for fusion systems. The staff encourages questions and feedback from all stakeholders during this meeting.
Stakeholders may give presentations with their questions and/or feedback on the development of the proposed rule and preliminary draft guidance. Please provide any presentations to Dennis.Andrukat@nrc.gov prior to January 15th, 2024. The staff will consider the feedback; however, no formal responses will be issued.
