FPL Energy Point Beach Letter to NRC dated December 17, 2007, Notice of Intent to Pursue Extended Power Uprates (ML07352086)
This letter notifies the Commission of a change to the FPL Energy Point Beach, LLC plans to submit a license amendment request for extended power uprates for Point Beach Nuclear Plant (PBNP), Units 1 and 2. The schedule for submittal of this application has been moved forward to the fourth quarter of 2008 from the first quarter 2009. This schedular change was discussed by representatives of FPL Energy and the NRC during a telephone conference held on June 5,2008.
