Preliminary Greater Than Green Finding," dated October 15, 2010

Subject:

Decision to Attend Regulatory Conference for NRC Security Inspection Report No. 05000341/2010201: Preliminary Greater Than Green Finding On October 15, 2010, the NRC issued the Fermi Nuclear Plant - NRC Security Inspection Report No. 05000341/2010201: Preliminary Greater Than Green Finding.

The inspection report documents a potentially greater than green finding associated with a security baseline inspection. The inspection report cover letter offered Detroit Edison the opportunity to request a Regulatory Conference on the matter, and on October 25, 2010, Detroit Edison officially informed Mr. Barry Westreich of our intention.

This letter provides follow-up notification that Detroit Edison plans to attend a regulatory conference with the final date to be negotiated between Detroit Edison and the NRC. Detroit Edison requests the regulatory conference be held at the Office of Nuclear Security and Incident Response (NSIR) at Two White Flint Towers. As requested, supporting documentation will be provided approximately one week prior to the conference.
