Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Registration of Spent Fuel Cask Use Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) operates the Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant (Hatch) Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) and the Alvin W.
Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (Vogtle) ISFSI in accordance with the general license provisions of 10 CFR 72.210. The requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2) include the registration of a spent fuel cask within 30 days of using a cask for the storage of spent nuclear fuel. Accordingly, SNC provides the following registration information associated with (2) HI-STORM 100 spent fuel cask systems recently placed into storage at the Hatch ISFSI and (1) HI-STORM 100 spent fuel cask systems placed into storage at the Vogtle ISFSI.
