Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant Units 1 and 2 Docket Nos. 50-3, 50-247 License Nos. DPR-5 and DPR-26 Submittal of Physical Security Plan Revision 22
Dear Sir:
Enclosed is the Indian Point Units 1 and 2 Physical Security Plan, Revision 22, which is being submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(4) as required by 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2). In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p), the changes incorporated into this revision were evaluated and determined not to decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan. Enclosure 1 provides the changes being submitted as Revision 22 to the Physical Security Plan, including a "Summary of Changes" detailing the changes incorporated. The Physical Security Plan is being revised to reflect the following changes; the change from a contract security force to a proprietary force, the use of communications equipment common to units 1, 2, and 3, organizational title changes, and other administrative and editorial changes. contains SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION and should be controlled pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21. This letter transmits SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION and should be controlled in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, unless separated from the enclosure.
Please acknowledge receipt of the revised plan and sign and return the attached unclassified safeguards information transmittal form. Entergy is making no new commitments associated with this letter.
