The NRC intends to support your request for a supplemental inspection in accordance with Inspection Procedure 95001, Supplemental Inspection Response to Action Matrix Column 2 (Regulatory Response) Inputs, the week of February 10, 2025 associated with the Notice of Violation concerning the failure of a High Pressure Safety Injection pump discharge rupture disc documented in BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT - FINAL SIGNIFICANCE DETERMINATION OF A WHITE FINDING AND NOTICE OF VIOLATION AND ASSESSMENT FOLLOWUP LETTER; NRC INSPECTION REPORT 05000260/2024091, dated November 21, 2024 (ADAMS Ascension Number ML24310A203).
This inspection will be led by Brian Towne, Senior Resident Inspector Davis Besse. Mr. Towne will be reaching out to your organization shortly to establish logistics.
