No: 24-036 May 15, 2024 CONTACT: Office of Public Affairs, 301-415-8200 NRC Seeking Comment on Search Engine for Agency Documents The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold a webinar May 21 to get public input on how the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System, known as ADAMS, is working for the public.

The NRC is seeking public input on several topics, including: the usefulness of several web-based ADAMS search methods; the applications current approach to displaying available documents in date-specific folders; and the ability to export search results and generate reports.

The NRC is also interested in input on other features that could be useful in a new ADAMS search application.

The webinar, from 1-2:30 p.m. Eastern time, will include a discussion of the NRCs existing search engine, which helps the public locate more than 4 million public documents and citations. The web-based search function has been used for more than a decade.

Details about joining the meeting are available in the meeting notice.
