SUMMARY
- 2023 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT MEETING REGARDING SAINT LUCIE UNITS 1 AND 2, DOCKET NOS. 50-335 AND 389, AND TURKEY POINT UNITS 3 AND 4, DOCKET NOS. 50-250 AND 50-251, MEETING NUMBER 20240533 On April 25, 2024, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted a virtual meeting concerning Saint Lucie Units 1 and 2 and Turkey Point Units 3 and 4. The purpose of the meeting was to provide opportunities for the public to discuss the annual assessment of each site for the period of January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023.
The meeting was held virtually via Microsoft Teams with a dial-in by phone option. The following documents related to the meeting are available in the NRCs document system (ADAMS):
Meeting Notice (Accession No. ML24103A203), Annual Assessment Letters (Accession Nos.
ML24053A069 for St. Lucie and ML24053A045 for Turkey Point), and Assessment Meeting Presentation (Accession No. ML24103A104). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
The meeting was conducted from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM local time. Meeting attendees consisted of representatives from the NRC, Florida Power and Light (FPL)/NextEra Energy, and several members of the public. The attendee list is provided in the Enclosure. NRC staff were available for questions following the presentation. No questions were raised during the meeting.
