No. 12 for VNC QAP-1 issued 6/23/17 GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, LLC (GEH) has executed a nuclear quality assurance program description. NRC approved NEDO-11209, Revision 17 for use on October 26, 2022, and the accepted version was submitted on December 8, 2022 (Reference 2). It is based upon GEH commitments to 10 CFR 50, Appendix B, "Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants". GEH also uses the same QAPD to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 71, Subpart H, "Packaging and Transportation of Radioactive Material, Quality Assurance".
GEH hereby requests that the VNC QAP-1 on-file with NRC (Reference 3) be deleted because it has been replaced by NEDO-11209-A.
