No: 23-065 October 11, 2023 CONTACT: Ivonne Couret, 301-415-8200 NRC to Hold the 2023 Workshop on Advanced Manufacturing Technologies for Nuclear Applications; Registration Open Online The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will hold the 2023 Workshop on Advanced Manufacturing Technologies for Nuclear Applications on Oct. 24 - 26 as a hybrid meeting.
The workshop, hosted by the NRCs Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research, includes such topics as implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies in nuclear and non-nuclear applications; qualification and certification; ongoing research; and latest developments in applicable codes and standards.
The workshop will run daily from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern time at NRC headquarters in the Two White Flint North Auditorium, 11555 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, Maryland, and online via Teams. Attendees who plan to participate in person should register online before Oct. 17. The meeting contacts are Eric Focht and Mekonen Bayssie.
