ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NOS. 11 AND 12, AND REVISION TO AMENDMENT NOS. 0 THROUGH 9 FOR THE MAGNASTOR STORAGE SYSTEM

Dear Heath Baldner:

As requested by your application dated July 14, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Package Accession No. ML20210M079), as supplemented on August 23, 2021 (ML21242A053), January 11, 2022 (ML22018A059), March 18, 2022 (ML22077A769),

April 18, 2022 (ML22108A197), and July 15, 2022 (ML22196A022), enclosed is Amendment No. 11 to the Certificate of Compliance No. 1031 for the MAGNASTOR storage system. This amended certificate issued by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) constitutes the approval and conditions for use of the MAGNASTOR storage system for storage of spent nuclear fuel under the general license provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Part 72, Subparts K and L. This amendment adds a new metal storage overpack.

As requested by your application dated January 24, 2022 (ML22024A374), as supplemented on March 18, 2022 (ML22077A769), and April 18, 2022 (ML22108A197), enclosed is Amendment No. 12 to the Certificate of Compliance No. 1031 for the MAGNASTOR storage system. This amended certificate issued by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) constitutes the approval and conditions for use of the MAGNASTOR storage system for storage of spent nuclear fuel under the general license provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Part 72, Subparts K and L. This amendment adds a new metal storage overpack.

As requested by your application dated March 18, 2022 (ML22077A769), as supplemented on April 18, 2022 (ML22108A197), August 4, 2022 (ML22216A110), enclosed is Revision 2 to Amendment Nos. 0, 1, 2, and 3 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1031 and Revision 1 to Amendment Nos. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 to Certificate of Compliance No. 1031 for the MAGNASTOR storage system. These revised certificates issued by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) constitutes the approval and conditions for use of the MAGNASTOR storage system for storage of spent nuclear fuel under the general license provisions of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Part 72, Subparts K and L.

This amendment adds a new metal storage overpack.
