SUMMARY
OF VOGTLE READINESS GROUP PUBLIC MEETING ON APRIL 20, 2023 On April 20, 2023, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) held an information meeting with a question-and-answer session to discuss the NRCs Vogtle Readiness Group (VRG) activities at the Augusta Technical College in Waynesboro, Georgia. The NRC staff did not make a formal presentation but did show a video titled Vogtle: Journey from Construction to Operations. Slides from this video can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML23072A180. The meeting format was an open forum for NRC staff and members of the public to discuss Vogtle Readiness Group (VRG) activities that support construction at Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP), Units 3 and 4.
This meeting was held in conjunction with the VEGP Units 1, 2, 3, and 4 annual assessment meeting.
The meeting notice and agenda are available in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) at Accession No. ML23095A264. A list of attendees is enclosed.
Members of the public were in attendance. There were no comments or questions from the public. The staff did not receive any public meeting feedback forms.
