By letter dated January 27, 2021 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML21053A027), Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) submitted EPRI Report 3002018337, Use of Data Validation and Reconciliation Methods for Measurement Uncertainty Recapture: Topical Report, to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for review and approval. EPRI Report 3002018337, November 2020, presents a process for using a mathematical Data Validation and Reconciliation method for monitoring core thermal power and use of the methods for Measurement Uncertainty Recapture Uprates.

By emails dated March 16, 2021, April 20, 2021, and February 2022 (ADAMS Accession No.ML21048A004, ML21110A048, and ML22066B001), the NRC staff provided the review schedule and estimated hours required to complete the review. During routine interactions by telephone and e-mail, the assigned project manager informed you of a change in the schedule to complete the NRC staffs review of EPRI Report 3002018337, Use of Data Validation and Reconciliation Methods for Measurement Uncertainty Recapture: Topical Report.

The purpose of this e-mail is to officially inform you that the NRC is changing the review schedule.
