Dear Mr. Warden:
Enclosed is an application (XCOM1340) dated August 30, 2021, received by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission from Technetics Group, LLC, for the export of reactor pressure vessel metal O-ring seals, retaining clips, and seal retaining screws to the four units at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
We understand that the Executive Branch has accepted the generic assurances previously provided by the UAE for similar exports of components to the UAE. Therefore, the NRC intends to issue this license after the required 30-day review period based on these generic assurances.
